By Un altro anno che si chiude porta, come prevedibile, all’appuntamento consueto con i bilanci. Per noi di Metallus.it, in realtà, oltre a guardare a quello che è stato, è importante anche pensare a quello che succedeerà. Il 2025, infatti, porterà un anniversario importante, ovvero quello dei 25 anni dalla fondazione del sito. Si tratta di un traguardo importante, che cercheremo di festeggiare nel migliore dei modi, sempre con il nostro modo di pensare al metal, il più possibile ad ampio raggio.
Nel frattempo, se guardiamo al 2024 che si chiude, vediamo come solito una serie di pareri concordi e altrettanti discordi. Il nuovo album dei Linkin Park, per esempio, viene citato sia fra i top 10 che fra i flop dell’anno, a conferma di come la ripresa dell’attività del gruppo abbia portato pareri più che discordanti. Paereri alterni sono arrivati anche per l’ultimo album solista di Bruce Dickinson, anche se il concerto dello scorso luglio lo ha visto in ottima forma. Judas Priest, Marilyn Manson, Opeth e Dark Tranquillity sono invece alcuni dei nomi che hanno ottenuto un consenso (quasi) unanime da parte dei membri della redazione. Anche i Mr. Big ottengono un responso unanime, purtroppo in negativo, dato che è il disco più citato tra i “flop” della redazione. Pochi invece i nomi di band italiane, ma vale la pena ricordare le citazioni di Drakkar, Fleshgod Apocalypse e Vision Divine.
