I Devil Driver pubblicheranno un album di cover di brani country intitolato “Outlaws ‘Til The End” il prossimo 6 luglio tramite Napalm Records. Il full length è stato prodotto, mixato e registrato da Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, EVERY TIME I DIE, SEPULTURA, THE CURE) insieme al chitarrista dei Devildriver Mike Sprietzer. La release vede la partecipazioni di un cospicuo numero di ospiti, tra cui membri di Lamb Of God, Fear Factory, per citarne alcuni, che si sono avvicendati nella rilettura e reinterpretazione di brani di autori quali Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Jones e Johnny Paycheck, Steve Earle fra gli altri.

Dez Fafara, vocalist della band americana, ha commentato:

Credo che la musica mi abbia sempre dato qualcosa. Che si tratti di blues o anche di gothic in stile Bauhaus o Sisters Of Mercy o perfino di grandi artisti della scena country come Johnny Cash, Wayne ‘The Train’ Hancock e Willie Nelson. Tutte queste cose mi hanno attratto, da sempre… e inoltre non dimentichiamo che il blues e il country più selvaggio sono la base del rock’n’roll… e nella mia testa questi brani sono sempre stati heavy.
